Mina Caputo & Alan Robert began their friendship in the late eighties in Brooklyn, NY, when along with Mina's cousin Joey Zampella, the three formed the band Life of Agony. The group released their first of several albums on Roadrunner Records in 1993, the now iconic "River Runs Red", hailed by Rolling Stone as "One of the greatest metal albums of all time." Life of Agony went on to share stages around the world with the likes of Metallica, David Bowie, Kiss, Foo Fighters, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, and many more. Life of Agony's 30-year old history is documented in the film "The Sound of Scars", directed by Leigh Brooks, streaming now on Amazon Prime, iTunes, and more.

Separately, Mina is an accomplished solo artist having released multiple albums such as "Died Laughing", "Hearts Blood on Your Dawn" and many more, and enjoys painting in her downtime. Alan is the creator and illustrator of the bestselling series of adult coloring books, The Beauty of Horror, and fronts the punk rock trio Spoiler NYC.

The two have now joined forces to collaborate on a collection of acrylic pieces, ranging in size and subject. Enjoy!
